Beijing-based menswear label PATH introduces its new Fall/Winter 2014 collection titled “FUTURISTIC // NOW-ISTIC.” Trying to reinvent modern menswear by presenting a radically different image of masculinity, designer Janine Grosche’s minimalist aesthetic is apparent throughout. The collection takes influences from rebellious youth cultures, music and art on one hand, and traditional menswear on the other, mixed with functional details taken from sportswear to create unique, innovative pieces. The garments are highly contrastive, using digital graphic prints interspersed alongside several all-black styles. The “FUTURISTIC // NOW-ISTIC” collection will soon be available at select stockists.
