A brand new concept store has just landed in Italy’s capital, providing Rome with a whole new retail destination that offers a tightly curated selection of products from a mix of sneaker and contemporary art culture. We took a look inside Holypopstore, which is located in a former art gallery – one of the most important ones in the city. The store carries brands such as Nike, adidas, PUMA, Vans, New Era, Iuter, Dead Meat, Hands, Komono, Beats, Medicom Toy and more.
Making the most of the history of the location, the store includes various areas for exhibitions, beginning with some of the most iconic pieces from KAWS, who just recently debuted his “Clean Slate” sculpture exhibition. In addition, every month Holypopstore is due to create a limited edition shoebox in collaboration with various artists exclusively for its customers, and the first one will be delivered by American painter Buff Monster.
Already open, the store is hosting an official opening party on September 26 with a live performance from Buff Monster himself to really kick things off.
