Luxury carmaker Maserati premiered its newest Ermenegildo Zegna collaboration, the Ghibli Ermenegildo Zegna Edition, yesterday at the Paris Motor Show. Described as “still conceptual but absolutely feasible in terms of content and the possibility of further color combinations,” by Maserati CEO Harald Wester, the newest addition to the Zegna line marks a commitment by both brands to a fruitful and lasting partnership.

The partnership between the two Italian-born luxury titans began just over a year ago with the introduction of the Quattroporte Zegna Limited Edition. Ermenegildo Zegna Group CEO Gildo Zegna explained the basis of the relationship as the union of two companies that “share a historic industrial tradition.” He went on to call the new project a source of pride, and a “celebration of the excellence of Made in Italy.”

The new Ghibli differs from last year’s Quottroporte in layout, color choices and overall design. The smartly dressed Ghibli S Q4 features a tri-layer colored exterior and 20-inch wheels coated with a specially developed paint color. The interior of the mid-size vehicle combines the best of Zegna’s leather and yarn offerings, which have been tailored to fit and complement the vehicle much like the fine suiting the Zegna brand is recognized for.
