Certainly one of the better brands to enter the emerging luxe sneaker craze, Amsterdam’s Filling Pieces bring some sturdy urban vibes to the fashion footwear table, with this croc-embossed nubuck version of their Mountain Cut sneaker. Finished with D-rings, a quilted heel counter and a white Margom sole unit, the bold red sneaker manages to straddle premium class and rugged streetwear without being too gaudy or ostentatious. Cop yours here.
Lifting patterns directly from the upholstery found in London’s tube carriages, Roundel By London Underground’s backpack oozes the sort of classic mid-century design that so often goes under-appreciated (or missed completely) by London’s hordes of drunks and tourists – get educated here.
Highly limited and sporting a sultry black and gold colorway, Givenchy’s latest entry into the watch game quietly posesses the sort of Parisian je ne sais quois that we’ve come to know and love from Tisci’s luxe powerhouse – without screaming ostentatious or tacky. Shop it here.
Following on from a pretty controversial collab with every football hooligan’s favorite outerwear specialists (Stone Island, if you were wondering), Supreme are back at what they do best collab-wise – teaming up with esoteric artists that would otherwise go unnoticed by the streetwear world. This time it’s recently departed Swiss artist H.R. Geiger, whose original Alien-esque artworks adorn a series of coaches jackets and hoodies. Shop the collab here.
Given the current luxe sneaker madness gripping the fashion world (we see you, Buscemi), it’s hardly surprising that Just Don’s offensively premium headwear has seen a resurgence as well. Forgoing their usual heavily branded sportswear style, the designer instead drops a series of (relatively) tastefully tonal snapbacks – crafted from lambskin and genuine python, of course. Match your outrageously expensive footwear with some outrageously expensive headwear and cop here.
Reebok’s iconic Classic Leather sneaker goes all high fashion on us, with this head-turning metallic, snake-embossed version. It’s a far cry from the sneaker’s timeless all-white colorways and the retro silhouette isn’t a perfect match for the wild chromatic color scheme, but we’re awarding points for the sheer brashness of it all. Buy ’em here.
There’s nothing we love more than good quality, affordable basics – and Supreme’s staple 3-pack Hanes tees are a great way to rep the NYC skate legend without resorting to Alien-adorned coaches jackets or $1,500 Italian-made jackets. They’re available in white too – cop them here.
Given Jordan Brand’s current fixation on hi-tech woven uppers and luxe intreccatio leather, it’s refreshing to see the sneaker that started it all get a bit of a makeover. The iconic AJ1 gets a tonal leather upper, offset against a gum sole – for something that might not be OG or retro, but still a very handsome sneaker indeed. Cop it here.
We do love a bit of outrageous luxe outerwear – from $10k shearling overcoats to sci-fi jackets made from mink and neoprene – and Balmain’s bank-breaking leather and shearling piece is definitely luxe and definitely outrageous – even it does look like something out of Game Of Thrones. Shop it here.
At the other end of the spectrum, ASOS’s line of super affordable on trend basics continues with this lush genuine suede bomber jacket. The rich caramel color and easy price is an instant win for us – get yours here.
