Japanese label BEAMS has teamed up with NYC menswear boutique EXPANSION for a set of military-inspired apparel for the fall/winter season, made exclusively in the USA. With each piece limited to 50 units, the collection consists of a field jacket and bucket hat sporting woodland camo patterns and two crewneck sweats (one of which sports a bizarre “Yew Nork” slogan). A bit of a left-turn from previous BEAMS projects, which have tended to involve exclusive Nike releases (see boldly color-blocked Lunarfly 306s, flannel Blazer Mids and beautifully minimal suede Air Max 1s), the collection is available now from the BEAMS online store.
