San Francisco-based Superduperstudio tend to the needs of the clumsy with their latest invention. The Saturn Wine Glass removes that pesky stem, replacing it with a small hollow bowl and creating a short, stout vessel that sits flat on surfaces and stacks. Months of wooden prototypes and redesigns have lead to cup which, when tipped, rests on the wider curved base above the bowl, and naturally spins around in circles leaving your wine to coat the glass rather than your carpet. Available in 2 sizes, 150-175 millilitres for red wine and 120-150 millilitres for white wine, the Saturn is hand-shaped in Oakland, California.
