Exploring “the relationship between the traveller and the modern cityscape” oki-ni create a short film for accessory brand Côte&Ciel. Heading to a preferred backdrop for anyone after dark and moody, the Barbican Estate, London’s best known Brutalist landmark, sets the scene for a young man and his backpack. Weird mechanical noises, unsettling beeps and static, things get a little strange in this imposing maze of concrete structures. Finally deciding to go with the flow, our protagonist embraces his environment and sets about performing a sort of soft shoe shuffle. Enjoy.
