We’ve returned with the third rendition of our Meet the Muse series, this time starring the beautiful brunette Dajana Rads. Photographer Rupert Lamontagne was responsible for the candid portrayal of Celeste Dejardins and he shares the same approach throughout this intimate shoot. Dajana is seen in a combination of closeup portraits and wider shots, giving us the chance to soak up her style as well as her beauty, which includes garments from the likes of MM6Maison Martin Margiela, Neil Barrett, Stussy, WOOD WOOD, Converse and more. We posed some questions to Dajana in order to learn a bit more about her, in an effort to really Meet the Muse.

Your greatest hidden talent?

I have a slight obsession with fragrances. I’m able to point out exactly which fragrance someone is wearing (that’s if, of course, if I’ve smelled it before.)

Your first thought each morning?

My first thought each morning: “Five more minutes,” as I press the snooze button.

Your favorite wardrobe item?

My favorite piece from my wardrobe would have to be my black leather jacket. Whether I’m dressed up or down, I can always count on it to add a little something extra to whatever it is I’m wearing.

Your go-to designer?

My go-to designer would definitely have to be Alexander Wang. I love how clean and edgy his stuff is.

Your top holiday destination?

My top holiday destination changes as I visit new places, but currently I would have to say Tulum. I just love the vibe out there; the people are so friendly, life is simple and the weather is not so bad either.

Your no. 1 album?

Right now I’m really feeling FKA twigs’ new album LP1.

Your favorite meal?

I go through phases with food. Right now I’m on Korean food; spicy tofu stew is what’s up – it warms the body (especially during cold Canadian winters) and the soul.

Your own personal motto?

Live in the NOW.

Your life ambition?

My life ambition is to be the best possible version of myself that I can be. No matter what life decides to throw at me, be it good or bad, to take it all as a lesson and to use all I’ve learned to better myself as a human being.

Yourself in one sentence?

Forever learning, constantly evolving.
