VICE continues their exploration of the subcultures that contribute to various regional forms of hip-hop with their latest series, Welcome to the Trap. Having focused on Chicago’s drill scene in a previous eight-part series with appearances from the likes of Chief Keef, Young Chop and more, the first Atlanta-centric installment delves into the drug culture surrounding the city as well as the impact of noted drug kingpin, Big Meech, and his Black Mafia Family’s usage of music as a means to launder money.

Below, part 2 finds reporter Thomas Morton meeting up Migos during a video shoot at Magic City – Atlanta’s most famous strip club. The series promises contributions from the likes of 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane, Migos, Rich Homie Quan, Young Thug, Jeezy, Mike WiLL Made-It, Metro Boomin and more.
