If you were in need of a little inspiration this past weekend, then we hope you were able to make it to the Los Angeles Art Book Fair. In its third year, the annual event presented by Printed Matter had the district of Little Tokyo buzzing. Over 200 publishers, artists and booksellers from all cultures were involved this year; the energy was high as eager crowds quickly filled up the venue at the MOCA. Booths lined the walls with vendors selling DIY zines, posters, shirts and all sorts of one-of-a-kind creations. Outside, rock musicians Prince Rama and No Age performed alongside several gourmet food trucks for some beer and good vibes. Keep an eye out for the New York Art Book Fair in the fall.
