Maison Margiela (it dropped the “Martin” since John Galliano’s takeover, remember?) opens up the spring season with a suitably avant-garde take on the varsity jacket. With a classic Margiela-ism, the jacket has been pieced together Frankenstein-style, with four separate satin, denim, and wool panels making up the body in defiance of symmetry or common sense. Head over to the Margiela e-store if you fancy dropping €1,855 on the deconstructionist contraption.
