British fashion designer John Galliano is back. Upon recently returning to London to showcase his first Artisanal collection for Maison Martin Margiela, Galliano sat down with Vogue to discuss his new role with the luxury fashion house. This not only marks a triumphant return for John, but also one that is driven by his sobriety. “It’s great just being alive again,” he says, “and every experience is new. I’ve never done this sober before. And I have to keep reminding myself that it’s actually quite normal. It’s actually quite nice, John.” He is simply grateful to be given a second chance, noting that it is “such a joy to be able to create.”

In addition to speaking on his return and sobriety, Galliano also dove into his inspirations as well as happiness when he sat down with Vogue. To enjoy the entire conversation, visit their website now.
