Red Wing Shoes was founded in 1905, and has been crafting workwear inspired footwear from the finest leather and materials since. Now that it’s 2015, the company’s heritage division is keeping old traditions alive by recreating some of yesteryear’s most classic silhouettes. The latest Spring/Summer 2015 addition is the Foreman Chukka, a silhouette that combines a Briar Oil Slick and Black Harness leather upper with Red Wing’s neoprene cushion sole, for maximized comfort and some heavy utilitarian style. Originally adapted from the brand’s classic work chukka, the Foreman maintains the oil-tanned, stain and perspiration resistant outer of its forerunner. And, because the designers have intentionally minimized their use of finishing  materials the leather will develop a very natural and handsome patina over time.

The Foreman is available at your nearest Redwing Heritage stocklist for $295.
