Virgil Abloh’s fashion label OFF-WHITE lifts the veil on their first women’s sneaker courtesy of Montreal lifestyle brand JJJJound, aka Justin R. Saunders. Keeping things surprisingly basic, OFF-WHITE’s first effort features a green suede upper atop a midsole that looks awfully similar to Nike’s Air Force 1. The toe box, meanwhile, looks to borrow design elements from the Air Max 1 which adds an interesting contrast to an otherwise understated upper. Finishing details include a padded tongue, thick white laces, and a black heel hit cap. Branding is kept to a minimum with a variation of the brand’s namesake appearing along the bottom part of the heel counter.

No word yet on when we can expect the sneaker to hit retail but as always, we’ll keep you posted as we hear more. In the meantime, check out OFF-WHITE’s recent men’s collection and women’s collection (where the sneaker was initially featured).
