Following last week’s announcement of the #breakingdenim campaign featuring LA coffee aficionado Tyler Wells, Nudie Jeans and Nordstrom head to New York for the second installment. This time around, Australia-cum-New York local Dylan Hales test drives the brand’s Thin Finn Black Ring jeans. As a gastronomy master and partner of The Randolph Group, whose SoHo and Williamsburg locations have cemented themselves as fixtures on the New York food and drink scene, Hales’ day-to-day resulted in exceptional break-in results.
Over the course of a year, Hales washed the pair only once by hand and even took them into the shower. Break-in details are evidenced via a permanent imprint of his iPhone 5, worn knees, and some essential repairs taken care of by the Nudie Jeans Repair Shop in West Hollywood.
