Acne announce its first full eyewear collection with the release of a bold lookbook for the 2015 line. Having dipped in and out of the eyewear world over the seasons, this new selection will be the first comprehensive range offering a total of seven styles for men and women with a few crossover unisex options. Debuted at the Fall/Winter 2015 show, focus is placed on color and shape across both lens and frame with a futuristic feel to the entire set-up. The Aviator receives a strong update with a frameless gold trimmed take on the classic beside a deep green and silver combination, the Wayfarer is reworked in a deep brown tortoiseshell while an acetate-heavy circular model boasts an exaggerated shape in a jazzy sky blue.

Made in France, as you’d expect, the sunglasses come with 100% UV protection and are stamped with the Acne logo. Creative Director, Jonny Johansson, comments “I wanted to introduce new styles, and refine our previous designs, to create Acne Studios Eyewear, for this first collection, I᠆ve drawn on my role models in music as inspiration and reference – it᠆s up to the customer to guess who.” On sale from today, Acne Studios Eyewear is available in Acne stores worldwide and the brand’s webstore.
