Marking a homecoming for the local graffiti legend, REVOK presents the opening of a new body of work – aptly entitled “Los Angeles” –  at a popup space in downtown LA hosted by the Library Street Collective. Following a stint in Detroit where he retreated as a means to perfect his artistry under the city’s fairly remiss legal system, REVOK makes a long-awaited return to the SoCal city with a series demonstrating a neoteric refinement of his technique and vision. Featuring a range of mosaic geometrical shapes hand-cut from wood, the collection derives influences from op-art, traditional folk pattern and optical illusion.

REVOK’s “Los Angeles” series is currently on display until April 19 at 1242 Palmetto Street in LA’s downtown district.
