Brooklyn-based e-commerce retailer Fig Collective is the first of its kind to bring up-and-coming South Korean brands to the Western fore. Following up on the store’s inaugural delivery last Fall/Winter 2014, Spring/Summer 2015 sees more styles from the likes of Thisisneverthat, Low Classic and 13 Percent. In a lookbook editorial shot in the brand’s gritty Bushwick neighborhood, we see some graphic prints and light layering pieces styled with sandals and white sneakers — they’re getting us excited for spring.

Fig Collective is a group of artists, photographers and designers dedicated to better presenting and representing Korean fashion. In the brand’s own words: “A fig seed is the smallest seed that can grow into the biggest tree; our concept is creating a larger platform for new designers from Korea [for] a larger audience.” With a pleasing lookbook and an even more pleasing clothing curation, we think they’ve done just that.
