Normcore, a fashion movement characterized by nondescript, pared-back style, was the most Googled fashion trend of 2014, but according to Google’s first-ever Fashion Trends Report, the anti-fashion phenomenon has now faded into Internet oblivion. The report, which analyzed billions of apparel related Google searches, found that normcore wasn’t the only term that had fallen by the wayside, as ’90s jeans and the scarf vest had too experienced a downturn.
