French artist Cecile Mestelan translates her talent into a collection of multi-functional objects entitled “O-L-H-O.” The pieces can double as a vase or sculpture, depending on how the owner chooses to present each object. Mestelan uses a combination of sharp lines and geometric shapes to strike a balance that makes the collection seem decorative yet functional. Using porcelain as her chosen material, Mestalan’s slightly brutalist formations are a contrast to the delicacy of ceramics, and imbue an element of sleek modernity across the range. The pieces range from resembling bird houses to glaciers, and totem poles, offering unique shapes for various tastes.
