In taking it back, The FADER this month pays homage to its inception and vintage streetwear by showcasing a selection old school advertisements that can be found in the publication’s first 10 issues. The FADER launched back at the turn of the century, during a time when Kobe Bryant was with adidas, Supreme was turning heads via their racy campaigns, Ray Allen was new to Jordan Brand, and Diddy was working hard to jump start his Sean John imprint. Various ads featuring such brands and faces can all be seen on these early editions of The FADER, particularly from 1999 to 2001. Upon getting a preview of the classic streetwear advertisements above, head on over to The FADER to check them out in full.

Not NYC, not LA.
