Where form meets function

Zoku, a new hospitality brand, has developed a “home-office” hybrid alongside design agency Concrete to accommodate guests’ work and leisure schedules. The Zoku Loft – which is designed for long-term stays – contains a four-person table that can be used for work or dining purposes, elevated, loft-style sleeping arrangements accessible via a retractable staircase that, when not used, can be embedded into a cabinet and storage space, and a fully equipped kitchen area. The first Zoku will open in Amsterdam this fall, with plans to establish properties in Paris, London and Berlin in due time.
