Seventeen-hundred new entries have been added to the latest edition of the Merriam-Webster unabridged online dictionary. The new entries speak to what’s current in the English language today, touching mainly on internet colloquialisms. Catching up with the times, words that revolve around tech vernacular and social media usage include emoji, NSFW, net neutrality, clickbait, WTF and many more. Along with the new words, context will also be provided with the implementation of 3,200 examples of correct use.
