When Tupac appeared at 2012’s Coachella as a hologram it was a true entertainment game-changer. Since then we have seen many other appearances in hologram form. Now, Canadian startup H+tech extends the blend between the digital and real world by creating Holus: a tabletop that converts any 2D digital content from a computer, tablet or smartphone into a 3D holographic experience. Whether it is a board game, DNA structure, or the solar system, your content comes alive. With the final product, you can view your content from four different angles and interact with it in ways that have never been possible.
The device has been tried and tested at various trade shows and conventions over the past few months, and now the company can reveal that it is finally ready to bring Holus to the world in July 2016.
