Where form meets function

Chevrolet Impala enthusiast Don Rogers developed a lifelong obsession for the classic automobile dating back to a young age when he owned his first ’64 Impala. Now decades later, Rogers has two Impalas from that year, a convertible, and a hardtop. Don spends much of his days working on and restoring these old school rides, as her prefers being under the hood as opposed to actually going to car shows. And with all of the blood, sweat and tears that have gone into transforming these beautiful vehicles, you would think he would keep them safe and sound in a garage or show area even. Nope, Rogers prefers actually driving his Impalas. “I’d much rather drive around a car that I’ve completely built with my own two hands,” Rogers says. “Part of the fun, [is] taking it out and thrashing it.”
