We reflect on the best footwear we’ve seen from the Spring/Summer 2016 shows with a set of lush sneaker illustrations from Yiche Feng.

As was clear from the many street style reports from the past month’s sartorial festivities, the sneaker shows no sign of disappearing from the fashion landscape anytime soon. To celebrate the sneaker’s ongoing fashion dominance, we enlisted Taipai artist Yiche Feng to bring the best of the season’s kicks to life in vivid color.

New York’s fashionistas turned up in a fittingly diverse range of footwear – from visvim FBTs and colossally oversized Raf Simons’ joints through to limited Nike and adidas releases.

Paris’s sneakerheads rolled through in a more monochrome selection of footwear; from Rick Owens’s adidas collabs and new Nike Tier Zeros to Saint Laurent high tops.

Fashion’s footwear aficionados descended on Milan in an arsenal of sneakers that veered from rare Nikes to ostentatious fashion models – those bulbous-soled Alexander McQueen joins being a particular highlight.
