CHARLESTON: Billy Reid x Blackberry Farm: The Road to Shindig

Billy Reid and Blackberry Farm team up to tour Billy Reid shops across the country throughout this month to celebrate the release of Blackberry Farm’s Classic Saison craft beer, a Belgian-style farmhouse ale with a citrus aroma and gold hue. The tour culminates with a Billy Reid x Blackberry Farm dinner on August 28 at Shindig hosted by Chef Frank Stitt. LOS ANGELES: Jonathan Leder Exhibit at Superchief Gallery

New York-based photographer Jonathan Leder opens up a new exhibition at the Superchief Gallery this weekend. Around 100 photos shot on polaroid between 2011 and 2015 bring Leder’s fantastic mind to life, showcasing work that were never meant for any commercial purpose but have found themselves to prove an important part of his portfolio.

LOS ANGELES: New Retrosuperfuture Flagship

Retrosuperfuture opened a new flagship just last month, its second in the US. Mexico City’s Savvy Studio utilized natural materials with concrete flooring, and wood, stone and metal for Retrosuperfuture’s patented all-in-one tables.

ST. PETERSBURG: Shane Guffogg at The Russian Academy of Fine Arts Museum

Los Angeles-based artist Shane Guffogg makes his way to St. Petersburg to open the largest solo show in Russia by any living American artist. Featured in the exhibit are pastels on paper, hand-blown murano glass sculptures and oil on canvas works that display Guffogg’s play with translucent layers. The exhibition is also celebrated with a 200-page hardcover book that will be signed by the artist in Los Angeles at the end of the month.
