Brooklyn-based design studio Thislexik present their latest creation. Made primarily from solid walnut wood, the Arc Light boasts an interactive design that allows users to adjust the placement and brightness of the LED bulbs. Hand-cut in order for each LED to fit perfectly in the meticulously carved grooves, the fixture contains three levels of depth which allow the light bulbs to overlap each other. The hidden Tesla coil technology generates an electric field of energy that pushes electrons through the light bulb wirelessly. Because the lights are not directly connected to an energy outlet, they only illuminate when in close proximity to the Arc Light, transforming the stationary wall fixture into a functional piece of art.
