The Weeknd's second studio album Beauty Behind the Madness is here. Toronto's Abel Tesfaye took to his Twitter account to break the news, bringing an end to months of anticipation, which included a feature on the 50 Shades of Grey soundtrack, a modelling gig with GQ, and most recently a new video for the Kanye-produced track "Tell Your Friends," which appears on the album. Given the commercial viability of his recent offerings, The Weeknd appears to depart further from the R&B underground, maintaining his bearing toward the mainstream, as the album includes features from the likes of Ed Sheeran, Lana Del Rey and more.
