For artist Phillip Low, light is just as much a material as is the semi-translucent acrylic he uses for his colorful prism sculptures. Each piece absorbs and reflects light in unique ways depending on its density and the smoothness of each side. Since there is no clearly defined bottom to them; they can sit on any side to reveal new forms and lighting scenarios. Their sizes range from three to seven inches in width and height — they’ll be great as table accents or fancy paperweights.
The latest sculptures are available at Totokaelo for $775 each.
