Moving into a century-old building seven years ago, Phillip Lim had a vision for what is now his custom-built penthouse loft in Soho, which he shares with his French Bulldog named Oliver. Lim decided to take over his loft’s neighboring apartment in 2011, joining them both together to create his perfect sanctuary. With a little help he has turned the two one-bedroom apartments into a beautifully curated space, filled with an array of eclectic pieces such as his Helmut Lang industrial pipe sculpture and crocodile-skin swing from Hermès’ Métier collection. The light and airy loft has been constructed to encompass classic styling with coziness.
