U.S. backpack specialists, Eastpak, have their outdoor outfitting game on lock. The current crop of their rugged holdalls live up to the term, with a select choice of spacious, integrated or completely compartmentalized travel bags.

One of the more interesting members of the Eastpak clan is the backpack-travel bag hybrid, Strapverz. Fitted with wheels and shoulder straps, glide it through airport terminals or simple pull out the straps and transplant it to your back when the need arises. Available in an understated stone gray colorway, it features a sturdy handle and four external straps for security and compression on the exterior, while the interior is compartmentalized into two separate, zippered sections. Less understated, but equally as resilient are Eastpak's rotating collection of smaller, carry-on size wheeled travel- and shoulder bags, inspired by the latest designs and prints seen on the runway.

However, Eastpak's latest drop arguably unites the label's current collection via a seamless blend of understated style and timeless utilitarianism. The Tranverz holdall (above) is a versatile, soft-shell fabric case that's easy to store and carry. Multiple hold points come from Eastpak's trademark side straps, ergonomically optimized for quick and easy compression or expansion of the case so you can pack up and go right when you need to. Available in four sizes of extra small, small, medium and large, it comes in a muted colorway of matte black with light tan leather detailing.
