Our Sneaker Rotation series continues, highlighting the current footwear choices of Big Eyes, Little Soles’ Yani Fish.

Next up in our Sneaker Rotation series is Yani Fish, the social media strategist and founder of female sneaker blog Big Eyes, Little Soles.

We asked Yani to dig through 250 pairs of sneakers at home – all of which are kept meticulously in order via a custom shelving system – to pull out the best kicks in her collection. As she’s always on her feet, Yani has chosen a sturdy rotation that keep her comfortable while looking sharp throughout the day and night. A perfect selection for the end of summer, you can peep them all below.

size? x Nike Air Stab “Dave White”

Since 2005 I had dreamed of owning this shoe. It was always a grail for me and I never assumed I’d be able to lay my hands on a pair in my size. However, a very good friend of mine found a pair (in an outlet, no less) and handed me them – one of the best gifts I’ve ever received.

ASICS GT-II “Team Netherlands”

Having trained as a sprinter up until I was 17, the Olympics coming to London meant the world to me. Then I saw that ASICS were releasing their GT-IIs from the Netherlands kit, in a colorway which would never go out of fashion. I HAD to have these – the perfect shoe and my favorite ASICS release ever.

Footpatrol x ASICS Gel Saga

Blue and Camel – not really 2 colors I’d ever put together, but boy do they work on this release. This shoe is a serious neck breaker. Shouts to Jimmy for putting the one and only pair in my size aside for me to come and collect, this is a pair which is ALWAYS in my autumn rotation.

FACE x Reebok Classic Leather

My favorite Classics Collab of 2015. Mixing a makeup brand with my favorite UK-based brand – I couldn’t ask for anything more girly and perfect. Gold shoes but muted enough that they look awesome, without being garish. Just yes!

Nike Cortez

The most nostalgic shoe to be re-released by Nike (for me, anyway). My teenage years were spent working in JD Sports and saving ALL my money for the next pair of kicks I could pick up. The Cortez is the shoe I loved the most as a teenager – although then I was rocking them with popper tracksuit bottoms rather than today’s Levi’s 501s.

Offspring x Saucony Originals Shadow 6000 “Stealth”

The perfect shoe for those colder days. If you know me, you’ll know that as soon as the sun isn’t gracing us with its presence every day, my outfits turn from grays and light denim to all-black everything. That’s why I love this collaborative release. That and it’s sturdy upper, super comfortable insole and 3M paneling – everyone loves a bit of 3M!

ACRONYM x NikeLab Lunar Force 1 SP

The most forward-thinking sneaker in my rotation. As an athlete, taking our trainers on and off to switch them with our spikes was the bane of our lives! All the laces, all the time. This sneaker is every athlete’s dream, you tie the laces and set the tension once only and then just unzip the shoe every time you need to take it on and off. EASY PEASY!
