Berlin-based eyewear label Mykita unveil their new range of digitally tailored eyewear. The “MVO” (My Very Own) collection combines the physical with the virtual creating a set of glasses born from digital technology. Teaming up with technology partner Volumental, the duo have designed a collection that uses 3D scans and digital simulation to process the contours of the face for an ultra-personalized set of frames. Using Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), it fuses the finest polyamide powder into a solid object while centering data-positions the lens. The customized colorways, lenses and hinges are then chosen and handcrafted bringing the virtually composed eyewear to life.

Featuring its own collection of sunglasses and prescription frames, “My Very Own” will be available from Mykita shops and selected opticians in Spring 2016. Find out more over at
