The legendary fashion photographer, Mario Testino, shot an intimate series of portraits for luxurious vodka brand CÎROC Vodka. Famous for his inimitable style of unique, elegant photography that employs a delicate, almost observational touch to every shoot, Testino reached a broader, international audience thanks to his relaxed, intimate portraits of Princess Diana.

Following on from their collaboration in Rio de Janeiro, Testino's latest work with CÎROC saw the artist hand pick German model and emerging fashion designer Johannes Huebl to star in the campaign shoot. Titled 'On Arrival', the campaign explored the thrill and sense of camaraderie only felt in the unique environs après ski. Taking place in Sölden, Austria, over three thousand meters above sea-level and in the shadow of the stirring Gaislachkogl summit, the Testino work recalls the iconic work of American socialite photographer Slim Aarons.

On working with Testino, Huebl commented: "He is a true artist and I love working with him. He has a gift and knows exactly when to capture the moment," before adding: "Being selected by Mario Testino and CÎROC for the On Arrival campaign is an honour."

"I first noticed Johannes some years ago," explained Testino. "It was great to work with him for this campaign. He is having his 'arrival moment' and following his passion for design. We wanted to celebrate that with this campaign and with everyone on the shoot. He is the perfect man for this campaign – intelligent, stylish and driven."

Although established in 2003, CÎROC Ultra Premium Vodka is a relative new-comer on the scene of timeless luxurious beverages, making the partnership between them, Huebl along with Testino a natural fit.
