Mr Porter

Denim is a constant, no matter if it's distressed or not. And while the current trend points towards a more damaged, used and lived-in look, you can be sure the compass point on the timeless workwear-turned-international fashion staple can ping back to a point of something more simple and clean. Yet that's the beauty of denim: it works at both ends of the spectrum.

Taking that as their cue, the arguable European leaders of all things denim, G-Star RAW, teamed up with artist, model and photographer Toni Mahfud for a special editorial shoot showcasing two looks from the label's latest Fall/Winter 2015 collection.

Using a pair of Reven Super Slim Jeans, one light aged and distressed, the other dark aged cobler washed and restored, the shoot is a suitably muted and swarthy piece for the coming darker months. It also plays on G-Star RAW's current ethos that champions people's individuality and the way they wear their own jeans, asking: "How do you wear yours?"
