Chicago’s RSVP Gallery is the latest U.S. local retailer to partner with Heineken for their #Heineken100 exclusive custom product collaboration, creating a plush jersey knit and lambskin strapback. Featuring a chrome buckle and subtle #Heineken100 branding on the interior, the caps will be unveiled tonight (October 19) at an invite-only event at the menswear boutique – founded, of course, by OFF-WHITE designer Virgil Abloh.
For six years, the #Heineken100 fashion collaborations have been rewarding the brewer’s highly influential, international consumers with custom-made, collaborative products. RSVP Gallery follows earlier collaborations with NYC’s KITH, as well as last month’s partnership with Union Los Angeles.
“We were excited to be chosen as a #Heineken100 collaborator,” said RSVP Gallery’s operator and buyer Isimeme “Easy” Otabor. “The program’s jersey knit theme inspired us to create a classic Chicago-style cap – an icon that, much like Heineken, will never go out of fashion.”
For the first time ever, the program connects key players in fashion retail around the U.S. with their culturally on-point clientele through the #Heineken100 City Guide, created in partnership with Highsnobiety, and featuring favored places and locales in each city. November sees the next product collaboration with a launch at Miami’s Alchemist. Boston’s Concepts will round out this year’s collection with its product launch in December.
