In honor of Superbowl 50, the NFL and the CFDA have teamed up to create fifty bespoke footballs. Designers, each with their own eclectic flair, put their spin on a league-designated “gold” theme, using the metallic finish as the basis for their unique creations. From Betsey Johnson’s pink satin rosettes to the Americana of Todd Snyder, a range of sensibilities are represented.

This isn’t the first time both the NFL and the CFDA have linked up. For 2014’s iteration of the championship contest, designers were asked to produce bespoke helmets for auction.

The footballs will meet a similar fate, and are to be auctioned off on the website to benefit the NFL Foundation. The balls will be unveiled January 20 at an event at the NFL’s offices in New York.
