This week in Friday Feuds a rapper turns conspiracy theorist, and an astrophysicist gets a dedicated diss track. Plus, a Wu Tang member is "sonned" by a former hedge fund manager, and Muva Rose starts 2016 with the clapback heard around the world. Oh, and Yeezus has a "cool pants, bro," moment.
Kanye West vs. Wiz Khalifa
Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa's recent Twitter drag fest is the argument no one saw coming, and it all started over a marijuana misunderstanding. Khalifa innocently enough tweeted, "Hit this KK and become yourself."
Rather than consulting Urban Dictionary, as is the habit of those who have aged out of the understanding internet slang bracket, Yeezus blacked out. He believed Khalifa was subtweeting about his wife, Kim Kardashian.
Needless to say, things degenerated into a sh*t show faster than you can say "WAVES"...
Once Yeezus realized the error of his shorthand slang knowledge, he decided the feud was over. However rather than issue a proper apology, Yeezy just went back to work as if nothing happened...
Wiz on the other hand, was still on that f***k you tip...
Amber Rose vs. Kanye West
While Kanye West unleashed a 17-point takedown of Wiz Khalifa, Amber Rose remained silent. That is up until West reached point number 12 (i.e. "you wouldn't have a child if it wasn't for me"). The child in question is of course Rose and Khalifa's son. As we all know, West and Rose were former flames before the latter hooked up with Khalifa, and the former settled down with Kim Kardashian.
All those swapped fluids were destined to end in disgruntlement, or in this case, an epic clapback involving accusations of backdoor activities...
B.o.B vs. Neil Tyson deGrasse Tyson
Recently rapper B.o.B let his conspiracy theorist flag fly when he started a new debate on a topic most of us thought was already established, proven, and accepted.
According to the Atlanta-based artist, we are all being duped and the world is actually flat...
Outside of the majority of Twitter taking upon themselves to point out the miseducation of B.o.B, astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson also offered up a basic science lesson... B.o.B didn't take Tyson's schooling well. His response? Why a diss track, of course...
Luckily for Tyson, he just happened to have a rapping nephew who gladly provided a counter-diss...
Kanye West vs. Lisa Ann
Amber Rose was not the only woman to take Kanye West's Twitter rant personally. After West tweeted that Wiz Khalifa had been baby-trapped by a "stripper," porn star Lisa Ann was unimpressed by West's "slut shaming" ways.
She promptly took to Twitter to remind West of his own questionable past...
Martin Shkreli vs. Ghostface Killah
Pharma CEO Martin Shkreli topped 2015's list of most-hated people when he jacked up the price of a life saving drug and then purchased Wu Tang Clan's coveted Once Upon a Time in Shaolin album for a stomach-turningly expensive price.
In fact, he was so little liked that Wu Tang member Ghostface Killah was unable to hide his disgust, despite the fact Shkreli technically lined his pocket through the album's sale...
Despite the fact that "sh*t head" is probably one of the better titles leveled at the former hedge fund manager, Shkreli still felt the urge to "son" the rap legend...
We'll be keeping an eye on this one...
Earl Sweatshirt vs. Post Malone
Post Malone aka White Iverson has been enjoying quite a bit of success in the past year. Nevertheless, not everyone has heard of him. Rapper Earl Sweatshirt started his 2016 by stumbling across Malone's music, after which he took to Twitter to express his disappointment...
Malone responded in classic unbothered fashion...
