Products made in mass volume often forego certain details that make a piece feel truly authentic. Seeking to do quite the opposite, FEIT is a brand that channels individual attention and care into its handmade shoes and leather goods.

This week, FEIT will present "Man vs. Machine", an immersive audio-visual installation that will contrast the differences between automated production and FEIT's commitment to handmade techniques.

Directed by NY-based Jack Riccobono, the collaboration between Benjamin Millepied and composer Nicholas Britell incorporates scenes from the legendary experimental film "Koyaanisqatsi: Life Out of Balance", which highlighted mankind's impact on the environment through industrialization. The installation pushes luxury away from needless excess and towards characteristics of quality, sustainability, and individuality.

Joined with the film is a dramatic combination of sound, live performance, and design elements executed to provide a truly encapsulating experience.

The installation coincides with New York Men's Fashion Week and will be open to the public this Thursday, February 4 at the New Museum. If you'd like to experience the project sign up here.
