Where the runway meets the street

Just before his fashion week presentation, Kanye West became once again very active on Twitter, the only social network that the rapper and fashion designer remains active on. From simple photo previews of his upcoming collection and adidas sneakers, to announcing that he is $53 million in debt and would like to get funded by Mark Zuckerberg, you can imagine that Kanye West has a lot to say. While one would think that Twitter is Ye’s domain – according to date around fashion week, released by Twitter – it was actually Rihanna who garnered the most Twitter conversation. PUMA was the number one brand in the conversation, right ahead of Kanye West and Rihanna herself was the most mentioned personality this past New York Fashion Week. Considering that Kanye did not only show his collection, but also his new The Life of Pablo album, and had 20,000 people attend the presentation, next to live streams going on all around the globe, these results do seem quite surprising.

4) Tommy Hilfiger (@TommyHilfiger)
5) Coach, Inc. (@Coach)
