Boy Better Know chieftan Skepta recently took to Instagram, announcing his participation in the re-launch of Uniqlo’s global flagship location on London’s Oxford Street.

Although it may seem an unexpected partnership between the Tottenham Grime emcee and Japanese fast-fashion favorite, Skepta has certainly been a frontman for tracksuit culture over the past year, and fittingly the “Shutdown” artist is shown wearing a casual grey sweatsuit and contrasting down vest.

Uniqlo has enlisted a total of six ambassadors for the project, including designer/visual artist Hana Tajima, transgender model/activist and DJ Munroe Bergdorf, BBC DJ and producer Benji B, filmmaker and visual artist Sean Frank, and finally photographer and model Cate Underwood.

Additionally, Uniqlo will be sponsoring a new monthly event at London’s Tate Modern gallery called “Uniqlo Fridays,” which will entail a series of late night events at the Tate Modern on the first Friday of every month starting in October.

Uniqlo will be re-opening the doors of its Oxford Street location at 8AM on Friday, March 18.
