Two core concepts drove the creation of ZANEROBE’s latest collection for SS16: one is the label’s promise to "never lay idle," while the second centers on an ethos of designing "what you’re dying to wear." What this translates into is a collection that feels contemporary yet with one eye on future trends.
Highlights include the new, regular-straight "Joe Blow" denim, which sits alongside their boxy, masculine fit chinos. For tops, tech-bonded, coated, and heat-sealed jersey and outerwear is matched by new "Rugger" dropped shoulder upperwear and premium "Aten" jackets. An on-trend pastel color palette includes snow marle, olive and powder blue in a nod to Pantone’s (joint) Color of the Year.
Originally hailing from Australia, ZANEROBE was founded in 2002 by Leith Testoni and Jonathon Yeo but now numbers a tight-knit global team of 30. With past collections straddling the fashion, heritage and core streetwear pillars, ZANEROBE’s new "Solar" collection cements the label as one that’s confidently and successfully doing its own thing.
