The Impossible Project recently debuted its new I-1 Camera at Bloomberg Businessweek’s annual design conference. The device is a revamp of the classic Polaroid instant format that packs the original’s analog pleasures into a sleek digital package. While boasting vintage inspiration, the camera is filled with updated engineering aspects.

The I-1 also comes equipped with a USB-rechargeable battery, as opposed to the original Polaroid that featured a battery that came in each pack of film. Speaking of film, the I-1 shoots on Impossible Project’s type 600 film as well as Polaroid’s discontinued 600-type.

The Impossible Project’s I-1 Camera will be available beginning May 10 for $299 USD. To find out more here visit their website.
