Raf Simons will be joining guest designers Gosha Rubchinskiy, Visvim and Fausto Puglisi in June at this year’s Pitti Uomo in Florence, where he will be showing his Spring 2017 collection. This move means that Raf will not be attending Paris Fashion Week—but expect his Pitti Uomo exhibition to be a spectacle, per usual.
“Florence holds a special place in my heart, as, over the years, I have regularly come back to show my work or to collaborate on ventures that closely mirrored my thoughts about it,” said Simons in a recent press release. “I am thrilled to be there again this season to present my S/S collection as well as a special project we are developing especially for Pitti.”
Fans of Simons and fashion in general should no doubt be looking forward both to his SS17 campaign as well as the “special project” he’s conjuring.
Pitti Uomo takes place this June from the 14 to 17.
