Milanese designer Alberto Biagetti and artist Laura Baldassari, of Atelier Biagetti, examined the taboo nature of sex in their “NO SEX” exhibition at this year’s edition of Milan Design Week. In all its pervasiveness, sex can hold different connotations for different people. It’s intrinsic to the human dimension and normalized in everyday conversation, evident in the way references to it are as common as they’ve ever been.

“NO SEX,” a pink-clad clinic presented at the Piazza Arcola 4 in Milan, offered visitors a chance to re-establish their “inner equilibrium regarding sex,” inviting them to perceive the suggestiveness that can be found in traditional objects.
