As if great food, great nightlife and some of the world’s most pioneering streetwear labels in the world weren’t enough of a reason to visit Tokyo, videographer Christoph Gelep has shared one of the most wanderlust-inspiring videos we’ve seen to date.

Shot over five days but edited to look like one, the video takes us from high above the city at sunrise, to the hustle and bustle down on the streets as people go about their daily lives. Timelapse footage features prominently, but is interspersed with slow-mo shots to capture the real human interactions taking place at food stalls, shopping malls and tourist attractions across the sprawling metropolis.
