Photographer Sebastien Zanella has beautifully captured the otherworldly experience of skateboarding around Venice, California at six in the morning.

Before the tourists arrive and the store shutters roll up, there are only the homeless and the last remaining partygoers stumbling home. For those few hours, one of the most popular tourist destinations on Earth becomes a ghost town. It is this eerie, apocalyptic feeling that Zanella attempted to capture.

The wonderfully strange photo set depicts Swedish model/filmmaker Daniel Lindqvist skating around the western LA area wearing a Supreme T-shirt, a vintage Paramount Studios hoodie, Levi’s jeans, Surreal socks, HUF shoes, and an Eastpak backpack.
