Everyone loves getting food delivered directly to their lap, if not their mouth. But sometimes the idea of an extra-large stuffed-crust four-cheese pizza just doesn’t tickle your fancy. Sometimes a cheeky Nando’s isn’t what your belly yearns for. On occasion, sipping a delicious red wine in the comfort of your home, you desire something that doesn’t traditionally come on the back of a bike, something gourmet (I know, I know… #firstworldproblems).

foodora was created to end this very struggle with a delivery service that brings food directly from gourmet restaurants to your door. It’s a bit of a godsend.

To bring the best food in your city to your doorstep, foodora has done a lot of traveling. The company was founded in Munich, Germany, in 2014 and now operates in over ten countries* and 33 cities. While gallivanting around the globe looking for top-notch restaurants, they’ve documented some of their best findings in a video series, foodoracle.

In discovering Toronto’s culinary scene the team met Vittorio Colacitti, finalist of Canada’s Top Chef and owner of The Good Son, one of the restaurants you can now order from using foodora. Gone are the days of hoping for the best while ordering from a mysterious new haunt down the street because they left you a pamphlet and you’re too lazy to pour milk and cereal into a bowl.

Check out the video above and more of the series, and you’ll know exactly where you’re ordering from next.
