With Fashion Week SS17 kicking off in the British capital, we got an exclusive look at JOSEPH Menswear’s short feature film, EVERYMAN.

Directed by the model-turned-filmmaking duo Vincent Lacroqc and Kristell Chenut (@venkayfilms), the film follows the story of Rodolphe over 48 hours between London and Paris as he explores the cities, constantly moving, and living his life as part of a larger crowd. Featuring pieces from the SS17 collection, the film explores themes such as unity, as well as the label’s dual Anglo-French heritage.

JOSEPH menswear’s classifies itself as a uniform for the everyday and for the everyman, with functionality at its core. As such, the collection’s themes heavily reference workwear and the military, with garments that are complex in construction yet offer a sense of ease and sophistication.

Watch JOSEPH’s film, above, before reading our interview with JOSEPH’s designer, Mark Thomas.
